For how long can water be stored into the cooper vessel before drinking safely?
In the Ayurvedic practice, water should be stored for at least eight hours before drinking. However, if you are putting potable water in the vessel, the water is safe to drink immediately or stored for extended periods.

Should this rust? And if its rusting (which it is) is it no longer sage to us?
Copper does not rust. Copper oxidizes. If it is turning brown or green that is natural. It is a naturally protective coating on the metal and is fine to use
